Youth is my second favorite Troy Sivan songs (seventeen is my fav.). Everyone is always talking about strawberries and cigarettes and fools. Can I say that the acoustic version is also so beautiful and low key better than the original? Just a thought.
Like I read on here but then I forget that I actually write on here too and I haven’t posted anything in like forever.
I kinda want to post MV theories here too. (Related to music I guess.) Some theories not directly related to the MVs but to the artist too. I have a lot of those and I could go on for hours tbh. What do my two followers think of that?-
Never land -Holland
Youth – Troy Sivan
Girls/Girls/Boys – Panic! At The Disco
Stigma – BTS (V)
Love – BTS (RM)
I’m not afraid – Holland
She’s in the rain – The Rose
Heart Shaker – Twice
(Not all the artists on here are gay, their songs just make me feel gay)
The first thing I noticed with this song is how different it is from her older music. She really suits this new sound and I honestly wouldn’t be mad if she released some sort of rock album.
The song was great. I didn’t love it instantly but after the third listen I’m obsessed. I really liked the drums and the other rock elements it had. I also really loved the bridge, it brings more emotion to the song; more than there already was. I also don’t really have any bad opinions on this song.
The Music Video:
I really do like this MV. I liked the dark concept and the black and white scenes. I loved the outfits and the location/sets. I feel like they worked hard with this MV.
I would love to see an album with this theme in the future. Halsey really did a great job with this single and I’m impressed. ❤
So my friends love P!ATD, and I had only ever listened to like 2 of their songs, and recognized some iconic lyrics. (“If you love me let me goooooooooooooooooooo.”) So I was bored like maybe 3 days ago and I decided to listen to one of their albums. I listened to Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die. I loved it (of course) and went on to listening to Pray For The Wicked. I’m currently in the process of listening to ALL of their songs. I am being dragged into yet another fandom. I’ve lost count at this point.
My current fav. Songs by them:
This is Gospel
Hey Look Ma, I Made It.
(Although I’ve loved everything I’ve heard.)
I’m probably going to review all their albums sometime in the near future. Pray For The Wicked will probably be first because that’s their latest album.
Soooo…. The new BTS album has been out of a little bit over a month now, so I’ve had PLENTY of time to process it.
1) The concept and visuals.
They really tricked us with this concept. We thought this was going to be a hip hop album with a dark concept and then we see the album cover and it’s pink. I was a little surprised by this. In a good way. Then the MV came out and they took this pink album cover even further. Like I don’t think anyone predicted this. JIMIN LITERALLY HAD PINK/ORANGE HAIR! Tae’s hair was beautiful too. The MV was so colorful, I loved it. Also, Yoongi’s scene was really great. A certified bias wrecker.
I loved this album so much.
a) Boy With Luv
This was an amazing title track. I love that Jin got lines and the choreography. I literally have nothing but good things to say about this song.
b) Intro: Persona
I have had this song on repeat ever since it came out. I have always loved all of Namjoon’s solo songs. The song is so catchy I can’t. Once again, I have nothing but amazing things to say for this song.
This is my favorite song in the album. The end is gold. It’s like kinda sad but also really happy. I’m always in the mood for it. Love it. Pure art. Amazing.
d) Make It Right
This was my favorite song in the album for the first week. I just really liked it. Once again, art.
This song was nice and refreshing. The chorus is really catchy and I wished it had a choreography. That would be so great.
f) Jamais Vu
I cried. in the middle of class. That’s all I have to say.
Going from Jamais Vu to this did something to me. Suddenly my tears had dried and I had taken over the world. Loved Yoongi’s verse.
The stages and outfits:
I loved the outfits this comeback. Their BBMAS performance was so great. I really enjoyed watching their encore performances on music bank. They are literally walking memes omg. They kept TxT on the stage with them, and they watched in fear/amusement. I have a theory that BTS are just so weird from an outside perspective that all the other artists/idols are like scared of them. I’m getting off track.
The physical album:
I bought versions 1-3 of the album. I sadly couldn’t get version 4 because I didn’t have enough money. There was a normal photo card and a post card thing. Idk it was like a thick paper. There was also this translucent photo film thing that I’m currently using as a bookmark. I really don’t know what it’s for. The photo books were great. I loved the packaging. The whole thing was like a book with another book inside. They look really nice. The posters were also really great.
I overall really enjoyed this album and comeback. Everything had so much thought put into it and I loved it. This album went beyond all of my expectations. Once again, BTS has outdone themselves.
So I saw this trend going around on YouTube and thought I would put my own input on it.
1) I like Jin’s voice the most in BTS.
Jin is overall and underrated member and that makes my Jin biased self sad. I just prefer his voice over the rest of the vocal line. I still do think the rest of the vocal line are great vocalists though! I love them all!
2) Mamamoo deserves to be in the top 3 GGs more than Gfriend.
Most people say that if BP were to be kicked out of the top three GGs they would put Gfriend in their place. I have nothing against people disagreeing with BPs spot, but I think Mamamoo deserves it more than Gfriend.
3) Just right is Got7’s best song.
I have never really taken much of an interest in Got7’s music and Just Right is one of the only songs by them that appeals to me.
4) We need more representation of LGBTQ+ people in Kpop.
We literally have Holland and that’s it. ONE person. You can’t put thousands of people into an industry and all of them be straight. The fact that there are probably so many idols hiding theirselves is sad and they should be able to be themselves without the fear of judgement from the public. WE NEED MORE THAN JUST HOLLAND!
I don’t think any of my other opinions are that unpopular because I see them everywhere, so that was it. Stan Holland.
